I love beer. Who is responsible for the office keg? This girl. It's a lofty responsibility. Choose one too hoppy and you cut off the casual beer drinkers, but you choose something too lite and people passionate about beer are cranky. But how do I remember what I've tried in order to make an educated decision?
Yes, I have tried Untappd. I find it messy, cluttered, and it does a hell of alot that I don't need. I need an intuitive, simple app to keep track of my mental beer library. That is where DailyBrew came about.
DailyBrew has always been a side passion project but I would love to be able to give it a bit more attention. While the UI has seen several iterations the branding needs to be brought up to match the current interface design. I would also like to further explore the user brew analytics. Allowing a user to know things such as total brews, where their favorite bars are or a map showing where all they have traveled on their brew journey.
While the origin of the app was a complete lack of social integration, I have realized the root was just not enjoying how the integration was presented in presently available apps. I do feel if it was handled elegantly and in a less intrusive manor it could be a solid part of the application.
