overview
The extremely collaborative relationship was littered with design chats, workshops, whiteboard wireframing and beers. With a short timeline, the team followed a rapid iteration approach researching, creating and testing as we went. We started with the website first to help define and refine their visual brand and tone setting us up for a solid foundation to attack the product. Several style iterations led us through the battle of light and dark, of brand colors or familiar colors, and beyond. While what was happening behind the scenes was complex, the act of checking and interacting with your Reputation Score needed to be as simple as checking your credit score, an act that most are familiar with. The constant communication and iteration landed with an easy to use design system that would allow them to grow the site and product long into the future.
BrandYourself has been recognized by the White House, named a "Best Entrepreneurial Company in America" by Entrepreneur Magazine, and declared "Best Online Reputation Services for Individuals" by Business News Daily. Following the completion of the project, they took their new product design to the UK and pitched on Dragon's Den where they accepted a deal.
